Why can I no longer make calls or send messages? (usage limits)

To protect our network and our users from spam and abuse, the Onoff system includes automatic usage limits. If you're no longer able to make calls or send texts, you've very likely reached one of these limits.

The 500-contacts rule (over a rolling 30-day period):
For personal use (B2C), you can't contact more than 500 different people within a 30-day period.
This limit works on a "rolling" basis: it does not reset on the 1st of each month.

Example: If you contacted 10 new people on the 1st of the month, those 10 contact "credits" won't be given back to you until 30 days later, i.e. the 31st.

How do I fix this?
If you've hit a usage cap (like the 500-contact limit), the only solution is to wait. Your counter will gradually go back down day by day, as the rolling 30-day window moves forward.
