How do I change my Onoff number?

It's technically not possible to edit or change a phone number linked to an active subscription.

If you'd like to switch to a different number, you'll need to give up your current subscription and take out a new one.

Step 1: Cancel the renewal of your old number
Go to the "Subscriptions" section of your store (Apple or Google) to cancel the auto-renewal of your current subscription and avoid future charges.

Step 2: Delete your old number
Open the Onoff app, go to your current number's settings, and select the option to delete it.

Step 3: Buy your new number
From the main menu of the Onoff app, tap Add a Number and follow the steps to choose your new number and subscribe to a new plan.

⚠️ Very important warnings:
Data loss: Deleting your number immediately and permanently erases all of its history (texts, call log, voicemails). Be sure to back up any important information before proceeding.

New subscription: Adding a new number requires paying for a new subscription. Any remaining time on your old plan cannot be transferred to the new line.
