reCAPTCHA issue on Android: how do I fix it?

The reCAPTCHA security system is used to confirm that you're a real human user while browsing. If you can't get past this step, or it keeps loading in a loop on your Android phone, this is usually caused by an outdated version of Google Play Services.

For the Onoff app to work properly, your Android system needs to be up to date.
Here's how to update your Google services:
Make sure you're connected to the internet (Wi-Fi or 4G/5G).
Open the Google Play Store app on your phone.
Tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
Select Manage apps and device.
Go to the Updates available section.
Look for "Google Play services" and tap Update (you can also choose "Update all").

Once the installation is complete, fully restart your phone, then relaunch the Onoff app to get past the reCAPTCHA step.
