How do I turn off subscription auto-renewal?

Whether you’re using an iOS or Android device, Your subscription’s auto-renewal is handled outside of the app. Here’s a step by step guide on how to turn it off:

(No worries, your number will still be valid until the end of the billing cycle!)

 

iOS devices:

Auto-renewing subscriptions are listed under the Manage App Subscriptions section of your Account Information Screen. You will need to sign in to your iTunes Store account on your computer or iOS device to cancel your subscription.

 

  1. Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store.
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap View Apple ID.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Select the subscription that you want to manage.
    If you don't see any subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID. 
  6. Tap Cancel Subscription.

 

Android devices:

  1. Open the Play Store.
  2. From the main page, tap the menu icon in the top left corner, next to the Google Play text.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select the subscription that you want to manage.
    If you don't see any subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Google account.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.
